The Unity Peacemaker's Game Plan *Special Workshop!

Time for both workshops: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
Discover peaceful strategies for life's conflicts at this interactive workshop. Includes lessons in spiritual principles and practices, playful games and useful tools to provide creative ways to move from conflict to cooperation, separation to community, and resistance to synergy.
Workshop Facilitators: Dr. Ed Rockey and Bobbi Rudin
Registration: For workshop 1 only, the sliding scale fee is $20 - $30. For both workshops combined, the fee is $40 - $60. Participation in workshop 1 is required to participate in workshop 2.

Join instructor Bobbi Rudin for this gentle class that uses yoga postures,
meditation, conscientious breathing and Unity philosophy to experience
deeper levels of awareness. Suggested love offering $10 per class.

This class is designed for those who are considering membership at
Unity of the Oaks or who just want to gain a better understanding of
Unity’s beliefs and prayer practices. In this workshop, Rev. Molly will
share and discuss Unity’s 5 Truth Principles, the core values at the
heart of Unity. All are welcome. Love offerings appreciated.
Radiant Hearts Healing Circle
Tuesday, January 24, 7:00 pm
Radiant Hearts meets to give light to one another and the world. In sacred space,
we learn and discuss ways of wisdom and growth from our hearts, principles and ideals
used on the healer's path. Led by Suemary Long, Unity Prayer Chaplain.

Join us for the documentary film, Purpose, that seeks to uncover the answer to
the question "What is the purpose of life?".

Unity Hiking Group
Saturday, February 4, 8:30 am in Wildwood Park
The hiking group meets on the 1st Saturday of the month for
a brisk, moderate 5-mile hike through the hiking trails of Newbury
Park and Thousand Oaks. Please be sure to bring water, a snack
and wear appropriate shoes for a hike. Directions are posted
on the church bulletin board at the church.
YFM Super Bowl Celebration
Sunday, February 5, 2:30 pm
The Youth and Family Ministry invites everyone to enjoy the big game with
them at the annual Super Bowl Celebration. Hosted by YFM and the
Balter family at their home in Newbury Park. Bring
your team spirit and a snack to share! All are welcome.
