Dear Unity of the Oaks Family,,
We want you to know that we are connected with you in Spirit, in Love and we are holding you in prayer in these unprecedented times. We are committed to connecting with you throughout the week, and to offer spiritual support. Here are ways you can still be with your Unity of the Oaks family without leaving your home:
Sunday Morning Service: 10 am on Facebook Live. If you have a facebook account, “like” our page and you will be able to view our Sunday service. You can also watch it at your convenience throughout the week by going to the Unity of the Oaks page.
Inspiration Wednesdays: Our Co-Spiritual Leader and Licensed Unity Teacher, Stacy Macris Ros will be hosting 15 minutes of inspirational quotes and stories, in addition to reading the Daily Word and leading a short meditation. Find her on our Facebook Live feed at 12:30 each Wednesday, or view the video later at your convenience.
Bible Study Online!: Join Rev. Sherri James as she discovers and uncovers the Bible through this one hour Facebook Live Bible Study class. You can join her live on Thursday evenings from 7 – 8 pm. Or, watch the class back afterwards on our Facebook page.
Refresh Fridays: Stacy Macris Ros is also hosting a 15 minute weekly live video to remind us to “have a new thought” at the end of our week. She will share spiritual tools we can use during these times and lead us in breathing exercises to calm our souls. Again, found on Facebook Live each Friday at 12:30, or on our Facebook page throughout the week.
Group Prayer Time: All you need is a phone! Call into our conference number, 1(669)900-6833, then enter the pin, 836161952# at 12 noon on Wednesdays, and one of our Prayer Chaplains will lead a time of prayer based on Unity’s monthly prayer vigil. Let’s all join together in prayer!
Individual Prayer: We are dedicated to praying you up! Call our office at 805-496-6901 to be connected with a prayer chaplain or one of our Spiritual Leaders.
Assistance: If you need assistance in getting groceries or medications, please let our office know so that we can help you. We have volunteers who are willing to aid our Unity of the Oaks family members, so all you need to do is say, “help, please!”
For Information Updates: Sign-up to receive our Constant Contact e-letter by calling Janet Ryan in the office. Also, join our new Facebook group for members and congregants only.
For questions, concerns, or to connect please feel free to call our office at 805-496-6901.
We love you, we bless you, and we truly appreciate you!
