Our Youth & Family Ministry Teachers
Janet Jaso, Director, Youth & Family Ministry
Janet came to us from Unity of Tustin, where she began her work in Youth and Family Ministry. As a mother of two boys, she became involved as a volunteer, growing with the department for 6 years before becoming the Assistant Director of Youth and Family Ministry.
She has worked with all age groups, beginning with the Unitots and then the Unichildren (ages 5 – 10) for her first three years. Her work with the older kids in the Uniteen and Youth of Unity included attending regional events as a sponsor, as well as receiving training at the region's Youth Educator’s Retreat each year.
We are blessed to have her with us!
You can contact Janet at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or would like to get involved with our Youth and Family Ministry!
We welcome volunteers to engage in positively-principled play with the little ones, lead a class session using Unity's curriculum, share a talent or craft project, help with a fundraiser, or just assist by providing a loving, supportive presence.
(Please note that all adults who work with our children complete a background check.)
We are also blessed to have our region's teen consultant in our community!
